Ebook Reader Review!

The Best Ebook Reader Review is going to give you not just the specs on the models that you can truly do anywhere in just a few minutes. Instead the our Ebook Reader Review will talk about which ones are the best to use, easiest to use and have the coolest accessories.

What makes an Ebook reader the easiest to use?

It’s actually a pretty short list but if any of them get these things wrong then you could wind up not completely happy with your purchase.

Now certainly we have not seen every model by every single brand on the market because there are too many.  So, what we do is base the ebook reader review on the top 5 models with the highest level of customer satisfaction as rated by stars I. E. 1 through 5 stars with 5 stars being the highest. In this way you’re now only choosing from the best of the best to start with.

#1. Without a doubt it’s readability! If the screen default setting are so hard on the eyes that it makes it truly uncomfortable on the eyes then you won’t want to use your new Ebook Reader.

The three best models we ranked in this category were:

1. Kindle DX with 9 inch screen. This may be the biggest reason Kindle is #1 in sales and even with lots of competition continues to dominate the U.S. marketplace.

2. Boox 60 Ebook reader by Onyx International. The color tones they chose for the blackness of the text and the semi off white background make it so easy on the eyes.

3. Sony Reader Digital Book. Once again Sony proves that they get it. It doesn’t matter how many bells and whistles it has if you don’t like reading it you won’t use it.

#2 Is of course ease of use. It just stands to reason that if it’s a royal pain to use you likely won’t. So ease of use is a big deal.

1 and 2 They tied! The tie for 1st goes to Sony Reader Digital Book and Kindle (any of their latest generation models). These two have strikingly different controls but are both super simple and easy to use. You could likely have either basically mastered within your first 10 minutes of use.

3. Bookeen Opus Cybook Ebook reader. As so many have done now they too have modeled some of the control after the I Pod systems. Basically a real no brainer to use.

#3 Is Accessories! Want to know what will really tick you off? Seeing someone else using their Ebook Reader with a very cool accessory such as a carry case that pops up to make it a desktop reader and knowing yours can’t do that even if you want it too.

1. Kindle. Hands down no questions they have the most sales and so hundreds of companies have rushed to flood the market with accessories. This is a good thing as that much competition drives the price down so that not only do you have by far the largest selection but you also get the best prices.

2. Sony Reader Digital Book. With Sony’s clout all of the aftermarket accessory companies jumped at the chance to get in on the action. So, this means a good selection and decent prices to boot.

3. Sorry, but in this category there really was no #3 as no other company that would be in the top 5 has made a big enough bang in the market to get all those other companies to smell success in the demand for aftermarket accessories. Like it or not, companies have to see a way to get big sales in order to want to jump on a bandwagon. Both Sony and Kindle have done this really well. Our style of  ebook reader review is focused on the real day to day life of using your ebook reader.

Basically all of the above models have good battery life, good storage (I mean do you really need to carry more than 3,500 books with you at one time?). They all also have good warranties and good customer support. The real reason you are reading our  ebook reader review is to be sure the one you get is going to make you happy and we believe you will be.
